Ton Ton Laferla Wins The RMYC Winter Coastal Series

Laferla Insurance, a leading provider of insurance solutions, proudly announces the success of their sponsored sailing boat, Ton Ton Laferla, in the Winter Coastal Series hosted by the Royal Malta Yacht Club (RMYC).

The four-weekend series featured four short coastal races and two Round the Cans races. Ton Ton Laferla led the series throughout and ultimately came in first place overall.

Johnathan Gambin, captain of Ton Ton, expressed his gratitude for the team’s sponsors and the success of the boat: “We are thrilled to have won the races. We had strong winds which sometimes created a challenging situation especially on the downwind. We have a new young crew and we still have a lot to get used to, the boat and the team. It can only get better.”
