Covers You for private treatment recieved in Malta as well as worldwide
subject to the benefit limits detailed hereunder.
The following is a summary of the Benefits payable under your Private Medical Insurance Policy.

This scheme gives the Beneficiary or Member as the case may be or their dependants the option to select  IN-PATIENT  COVER (Option 1) or DAYCASE & OUT-PATIENT COVER ONLY  (Option2).
The charges for any such treatment received must be reasonable and customary.

5. Nursing at home (Services exclusively by MMDNA). 
a) Visits by a qualified nurse for the Treatment of a Medical Condition immediately following In-patient or Day-case Treatment as recommended by the Specialist in attendance.
b)  Nursing Treatment, by day or by night, on the recommendation of the Medical Practitioner including blanket baths, prevention and treatment of bedsores, toenail cutting, injections enemas and washouts, dressing of wounds, catheterisation, care and treatment of diabetics.
c) Midwifery service by a state-certified midwife for ante-natal and post-natal visits.

6.  Nursing treatment at home directly related to the treatment of a medical condition requiring  skilled nursing by a registered nurse actively supervised and monitored by the specialist in attendance.

7. General practitioner charges at the following rates:
